BIOGRAPHY

Robert Podgorney leads the modeling and simulation team at the U.S. Department of Energy’s FORGE laboratory, specializing in enhanced geothermal systems (EGS). His work focuses on fluid flow, heat transport, and fracture mechanics to advance geothermal energy development.

Robert also serves as chair for reservoir modeling with the international partnership for Geothermal Technology. He plays a key role in driving innovation and collaboration in the global effort to expand sustainable geothermal resources.
