BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Shuvajit Bhattacharya is a Research Associate Professor at the Bureau of Economic Geology, The University of Texas at Austin. As the Principal Investigator of the HotRock geothermal consortium, he leads projects advancing data collection, resource exploration, reservoir modeling, and techno-economic analysis for geothermal energy.

Shuvajit has directed multiple federally and industry-funded research initiatives and has contributed to oil and gas, carbon capture, and hydrogen projects. His work continues to drive innovation in sustainable subsurface energy and resource development.
